AXMEDIS - User group

This is a special web area for the AXMEDIS User Group Experts who represent prominent practitioners and researchers working in AXMEDIS related sectors. The User Group Experts are assisting and collaborating with the project to discuss key requirements and issues from different viewpoints, to validate the output and results produced by the project, and to guide the development of the project. A number of AXMEDIS User Group meetings are to be held during the course of the project:

• 2^nd AXMEDIS User Group Meeting. University of Florence, Italy, 5-6 September 2005
• 3^rd AXMEDIS User Group Meeting, Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia Fondazione, Rome, Italy, 16-17 March 2006
• 4^th AXMEDIS User Group Meeting, Fraunhofer Institut Graphische Datenverarbeitung, Darmstadt, Germany, 25-29 June 2007

If you or your colleague are experts working in one or more AXMEDIS areas (see details via the main page www.AXMEDIS.org), and would like to involve in the AXMEDIS project, please do not hesitate to email your nomination or proposal to the Project Coordinator, Prof Paolo Nesi (nesi@dsi.unifi.it) or the User Group chair, Dr Kia Ng (kia@computer.org) with your profile/bio/CV. Nominated Experts are selected based on the profiles, experiences and skills in the relevant subject areas, to represent the different users of AXMEDIS tools at both business and consumer levels, including content producers, content integrators, content distributors and others. Main duties of selected Experts are to provide comments, feedback, criticism and thoughts to guide the development of the project based on the expert knowledge and experiences.
